It’s been a quiet start to the window Birmingham City but two names in particular
have been thrown around a lot recently.
Birmingham Target Doyle
Wolves midfielder Tommy Doyle looks to be on his way to St. Andrews @
Knighthead Park. The 23 year-old has played 26 games for the Premier League side
this season scoring once in the league cup and picking up an assist in the
league.
Doyle has also struggled for starts at Molineux since the appointment of
Wolves new coach Vitor Pereira in December.
Sunderland and Wrexham have also been rumoured to have interest in the for
the midfielder however it is looking increasingly likely that Blues will beat them
to Doyle’s signature. The deal will reportedly be an initial loan with an option to
buy. This is according to reliable source Football League World.

The Blues look to be getting their hands and a capable, ball playing midfielder
which could help them push for promotion into the Premier League for the first
time since they were relegated in the 2010/11 season.
Birmingham City Target Gray
The promotion push will be significantly helped a former player who
looks set to return to Birmingham. This comes in the form of Demarai Gray. The former Blues player who played for the club in his early years looks set to return to St. Andrews.
The 28 year-old has been playing his football in Saudi Arabia for El-Ettifaq after leaving Everton in 2023 there Gray has picked up 4 goals and 4 assists over his 2 year spell. The Blues
have reportedly secured the Jamaican on a free with the Saudi club getting a
significant sell on fee.
Gray played three season in royal blue before moving on in 2015 and has
since gone on to become a Premier League winner with Leicester and a
starter for Everton.
Being only 28, he still has a future ahead of him which could involve him returning to the Premier League with the team he started his career with.
