The Best Home Kits In The EFL So Far

So far, the kits that have been released for the upcoming season haven’t disappointed, with many clubs certainly venturing out more and releasing some rather exuberant numbers, perfect for football kit fanatics like myself.

With this being said, let’s look at three EFL Home Kit designs that have caught our eye.

Charlton Athletic

Charlton’s new home kit is a standout for me, switching to Reebok from Castore in their first season back in the second tier, and the new kit suppliers certainly haven’t let them down.

The classic red with a mix of white and black accents make the kit look tidy and put together.

Whilst the faded thin diagonal stripes adds immense flare, and sets this shirt apart from others in the division. The Addicks tried something a little bit out there, but not too much, and it’s worked perfectly.

AFC Wimbledon

In League One, our mention goes to AFC Wimbledon, who have produced three impeccable shirts, however it’s hard to look past Port Vale’s anniversary kit.

Simple, clean, historic yet still incredibly special.

The full kit itself with the all-black shorts alongside the hooped black and white socks look immaculate. Furthermore, the gold for the badge and Puma logo on the shirt itself is so crisp, and the perfect tertiary colour for a simple yet effective black and white kit.

The Puma kit is also debatably the biggest argument yet for shirts looking better sponsor-less. Simply spectacular, top job.

Barrow

It’s Puma again in League Two, as so far Barrow’s home shirt is the best in the division for me. The traditional light blue and white has remained, but this time as a modern classic.

The blue really pops off the clear white in the background in a rather funky pattern template which could’ve easily been put together catastrophically wrong.

In an opinion that could potentially be controversial, I also am a fan of the sponsor, the black writing matches well with the black Puma logo and the red maple leaf bonds well with the red rose in the Barrow crest. Very solid shirt from bluebirds.
