The Five Sheffield United Players Representing Their Nations

Sheffield United often have multiple players leaving for international duties, and that’s no different this international break.

This time, the Championship club have five players representing their nations.

But who are they and which countries will they be representing?

Andre Brooks – Jamaica

Andre Brooks has been putting in consistently great performances for the Blades recently, including a goal in their last game, a 2-1 defeat to Wrexham.

\These impressive displays have earned the 22-year-old his first international call up for Jamaica.

Brooks will potentially play in his country’s World Cup play-off semi-final against New Caledonia.

Interim manger Rudolph Speid will hope the winger can carry his impressive form into international duties to help secure a spot in the 2026 World Cup.

Sydie Peck – England U21s

Sydie Peck has been a consistent name for the England U21s squad for the U21 Euro 2027 qualifiers.

Peck has already five times for the Young Lions and has bagged two assists.

The 21-year-old will look to make an impact for Lee Carsley’s men against Andorra and Moldova.

Tyler Bindon – New Zealand

A standout performer for the Blades, Tyler Bindon has made an impact in his time on loan at Sheffield United.

The defender has also been a regular name on the team sheet for his national team.

However, Bindon will be looking to help his national teammates get their first win since June 2025, when they beat Ivory Coast.

New Zealand will face Finland and Chile in friendlies as they look to pick up form before the World Cup in June.

Chiedozie Ogbene – Republic of Ireland

Another Sheffield United loanee, Chiedozie Ogbene will represent his country in the coming weeks.

The winger will look to help his team secure qualification for the World Cup as they face the Czech Republic.

While Ogbene is a regular starter for his nation, making 30 appearances for them, his output has been minimal as he has only got five goal contributions in that time.

However, if there was ever time for him to show up for his nation, now is that time.

Adam Davies – Wales

Adam Davies has had to step up for the Blades recently since the injury to Michael Cooper.

United fans will be hoping the Welshman doesn’t sustain an injury as well during this international break as he represents his country.

Davies may be called upon between the sticks against Bosnia and Herzegovina in their World Cup qualifier.

However it’s unlikely that Davies will be called upon as he hasn’t played for his nation since September last year in a 1-0 loss to Canada.
