In the previous season, he managed to net three goals and pick up five assists in 26 matches, as well as this within the same season for the under-19s, he picked up one assist in 6 appearances.

So far, the Englishman this season has made four appearances and picked up two assists for the Man City academy, and the 19-year-old has struggled to break through to the first team like other youngsters at Man City have.

Sheffield Wednesday Starting Poor Due To Financial Issues And Where To Improve

As for Sheffield Wednesday, who have started the season poorly and are sitting second bottom on one point after finishing 12th last season. The loan move of the Manchester City youngster will be a lifeline for Wednesday, considering their ongoing financial issues and management issues.

The midfielder will add much needed depth to the side as he looks to gain experience and more game time out on loan. As well as this, Sheffield Wednesday looks to bring in loan players due to the financial issues.

A player who is versatile in midfield could be what Sheffield Wednesday need, with additional pressure added to Barry Bannan, who has scored a single goal this season so far, and Svante Ingelsson who has not produced a goal or an assist so far.

With Nathaniel Chalobah picking up a hamstring injury in a 2-1 defeat against Leicester City on the first game of the season and return date unsure it is crucial that Wednesday get a replacement in knowing they are already lacking depth.

At the age of 19, Heskey is inexperienced but when he makes the move, players around him like Barry Bannan will support him which may lead to the Man City youngster having a successful loan spell on Wednesday.
