Norwich City are one of the sides aiming for success in this year’s Championship.
However, the side have faced difficulties with them currently sitting 22nd in the Championship after the first half of the season.
But, the side are showing signs of fight with Norwich picking up seven points in their last five games.
Furthermore, with the January transfer window now upon the footballing world, City could look to recruit to improve their chances of survival and to push themselves further up the table.
Now, a former Championship player has suggested what the side needs in this window.
Speaking to What The EFL, Sam Parkin stated: “This is just so out of keeping with what they have always been in the Championship and at Carrow Road, which is free scoring and one of the hardest places to go.
“He’s done well steadying the ship, improving them defensively, but I suppose the squad already has quite a number of new signings from the summer that haven’t really hit the ground running.
“Are they going to go into the market again?
“I would suggest they probably do need to recruit a couple in the attacking areas to try and pull themselves away from the bottom.”
Parkin made appearances for Championship side Ipswich Town as well as other EFL outfits such as Luton Town in his time as a professional footballer.
Now, with his opinion public, attention may turn towards Norwich fans to see how they react to these suggestions.
Furthermore, fans could look towards City to see if they make more signings during the window in order to boost their chances of an improved league position.
Meanwhile, with over half the transfer window left, the Canaries arguably have a lot of time to do the suitable business that is needed for the club.
