Charlie Kelman- Leyton Orient was on loan from Queens Park Rangers
Our first forward, who holds a place on our list of successful forward loans, is in the form of Charlie Kelman, whose 21 goals and 5 assists helped earn The O’s vital points throughout the season. These stats pushed his side into the playoffs, but they unfortunately lost in the final to Charlton. The 23-year-old throughout the season offered a clear attacking threat with 111 shots and 51 of these were on target. However, the QPR loanee’s playmaking ability also helped to benefit Orient with 316 successful passes, and a 50% long ball accuracy helped to create 28 chances from Kelman during the 24/25 season. This, combined with his attacking threat, helped Kelman have an impressive loan spell at Leyton Orient.
Rob Street- Doncaster Rovers was on loan from Lincoln City
The next forward who was a physical threat for Doncaster and holds a place on our list of successful forward loans is in the form of Rob Street, who was one of the focal points of Doncaster’s attack in the second half of the season. Street’s 12 goals helped Rovers gain important points throughout the second half of the 24/25 season and contributed to them winning the League Two title. The 23-year-old helped his side maintain possession by winning 89 aerial duels whilst also completing 138 successful passes. All of this combined helped Street be one of Doncaster’s main goal threats and complete a successful loan spell at Doncaster.
Manor Solomon- Leeds United was on loan from Tottenham Hotspur
Third in our list of successful forward loans is winger Manor Solomon, whose 10 goals and 12 assists earned Leeds key points, which helped them win the Championship League title. The 25-year-old offered a clear attacking threat in the 24/25 season with 60 shots, with 25 of these on target. However, the Spurs loanee’s playmaking ability benefited Leeds with 868 successful passes, and a 50% long ball accuracy helped create 67 chances from Solomon in the 24/25 season. This impressive ability from Solomon made him a clear and justified inclusion on our list of successful forward loans.
Louie Barry- Stockport County was on loan from Aston Villa
The penultimate inclusion on our list is in the form of Louie Barry, whose 15 goals and 2 assists helped County earn crucial points in the first half of the 24/25 season, which contributed to Stockport getting into the playoffs at the end of the season, but they unfortunately lost in the semi final to Leyton Orient. The 21-year-old, in his short loan spell at Stockport, offered a clear attacking threat with 71 shots and 36 of these on target. However, the Aston Villa loanee’s playmaking ability benefited the Manchester-based side with 315 successful passes and a 46.7% long ball accuracy, which created 22 chances from Barry in the first half of the season. This, as well as his attacking ability, helped Barry have a successful loan spell within the first half of the 24/25 campaign. He would then go onto finish the season with Championship side Hull City.
Nathan Lowe- Walsall was on loan from Stoke City
The final addition to our list is in the form of Nathan Lowe, whose 15 goals and 5 assists contributed to Walsall having a prolonged time at the top of the League Two table in the first half of the 24/25 season. The 19-year-old, in his half a season at Walsall, had offered a clear attacking threat with 59 shots, and 31 of these on target. However, the Stoke loanee’s playmaking ability benefited the Saddlers in the first half of the season with 233 successful passes and a 45.5% long ball accuracy, which helped to create 21 chances from Lowe within his tame at Walsall. This, along with his outstanding attacking ability, has earned himself a place on our list of successful forward loans in the 24/25 season. It’s no coincidence that Walsall struggling to get points and Lowe being recalled were tied together.
