Will Swan has impressed so far this season for Bradford City, contributing to their success.

Current Bradford City striker Will Swan, in his spell at Crawley Town last season, scored 7 goals and picked up 4 assists in 40 matches for the current League Two side.
Following this, he joined the Bantams in the summer for an undisclosed fee when Graham Alexander’s side gained promotion to League One.
So far this season, the striker has made a sizeable impression whilst featuring 21 times and netting five goals, plus contributing to two assists.
His statistics also show that he has made 23 shots, with 9 of these on target, whilst rotating with fellow striker Stephen Humphrys.
Furthermore, Swan has completed 58 touches in the opposition boxes during this campaign so far.
These attacking statistics show the threat that the 25-year-old holds and the constant presence he has carried out when facing opposition so far this season.
This could be argued as an important factor in why the Bantams currently sit 3rd on a +9 goal difference and have scored a total of 34 goals this campaign so far.
Graham Alexander: “I think it will give him confidence.
“But the thing I say to all the players, scoring a goal and then not competing and not pressing and not being part of the team, that’s no good for us.
“It’s not what I’m about. It’s not what this team’s about.
“It’s about continually helping the team overcome the opposition. If you score, if someone else scores, if you set somebody up, I’m not bothered who scores.
“It’s just about the team scoring more than the opponent each week. And if you help us do that, you stay in the team. That’s how we do it.
“Swanny’s been that guy, Humps has been that guy. He hasn’t got the goal output that he would probably like.
“But he’s been such a thorn in the side for us, and I thought he was brilliant when he came on. His strength, his power and his running ability.
“He was a great outlet for us when Swanny had to come off. That’s all I want from players.
“They’ve got the basics of their job, and it’s all got to be team-led. I think we’ve got a squad of players that believe in that really well.”
