Blackburn Rovers have entered the discussions as they look to improve their squad in the final stages of this transfer window.

Blackburn Rovers are one of the sides in the Championship currently experiencing difficulty with the outfit 22nd in the league after their first 29 games of the season.
Furthermore, even with a game in hand on West Bromwich Albion (who sit a place above them), a win would only go level on points with Albion (although would go above them).
Meanwhile, with such difficulties facing the club currently, the final day of the transfer window could be crucial in improving the squad and in giving themselves a better chance of getting out of the Championship relegation zone.
So far in the winter transfer window, Rovers have signed Oladapo Afolayan on a permanent deal whilst also confirming the signing of Mathias Jørgensen and the loan deal of Eiran Cashin.
Now, it appears that the side are closing in on their latest signing with the outfit in advanced discussions with Sheffield Wednesday over the signing of Bailey Cadamarteri, according to RoversXtra on X.
Furthermore, the source has stated that the deal is understood to be in the region of £1 million.
Cadamarteri has made 29 appearances for Wednesday in the Championship this season, scoring twice.
The 20-year-old has also created 15 chances and has made 18 tackles, demonstrating his impact at both ends of the field.
With Blackburn struggling for chances this season (Rovers have had 56 so far this campaign), the signing of Bailey Cadamarteri can be seen as a major marker in helping to improve their chances created figure.
Meanwhile, it could be seen as a positive step towards improving the squad’s quality and the chances of Blackburn escaping relegation at the end of the campaign.
However, some supporters could look towards his limited ability to provide assists as a potential weakness, which could create a negative perception around his abilities.
Even with this, the signing of Cadamarteri can not be understated and can instead be looked at as a move to improve.
