Bolton Wanderers are expected to receive the news of Teddy Sharman-Lowe being recalled, it’s not all bad news for the Trotters though

Chelsea are set to recall goalkeeper Teddy Sharman-Lowe from his successful Bolton Wanderers loan, according to Nizaar Kinsella on his X account.
TSL could possibly be going back into the squad at Chelsea or be loaned out to a Championship side. All options are being considered.
The League One club have acted fast, however, and are on the verge of signing Fleetwood Town goalkeeper David Harrington.
22-year-old TSL signed for Chelsea in 2020, but is yet to make a first team appearance. In the 2020-21 season, Sharman-Lowe spent the season out on loan at Burton Albion, he didn’t make a league appearance but did appear a handful of times in the cup competitions.
The goalkeeper would then have a successful loan at Havant & Waterlooville in 2023, playing 21 times for the Southern based club.
It was this sort of consistency that alerted to Doncaster Rovers to him and he would join them in January 2024, making 46 appearances for the club. He would then appear 22 times for Bolton Wanderers before being recalled.
Cork born Harrington qualifies for Wales and is hopeful of making his debut for his adopted country. He qualifies through his Welsh father.
Harrington made 33 appearances for Cork City before making the move across to England in 2023 to play for Fleetwood Town. He has gone on to make a further 21 outings for the ‘Cod Army’.
The 25-year-old has played for Ireland at Under 21 level and has been in the squad for the senior team. In November 2024, he changed allegiances and Welsh boss Craig Bellamy called him up for the Nations League games against Iceland and Turkey.
This appears to have wet his appetite and he now craves a move up the leagues with Bolton calling his name.
The deal is expected to go through before the weekend and he could make his debut in the clubs early kick-off League One game against Wigan Athletic.
Harrington follows Jack Bonham into the Toughsheet Stadium and both will compete to start against the Latics with Bonham previously playing under Wanderers boss Steven Schumacher at Stoke City.
