Bradford City are due to face AFC Wimbledon this weekend following their 1-0 victory over Stockport County as the Bantams look to make it three wins in a row.

Going into the match, Bradford have scored three goals in two games whilst also conceding none.

As well as this, Graham Alexander’s side have also cut the gap to Bolton Wanderers to just two points with two fixtures in hand over the Wanderers.

However, with both of these games taking place at home, backing their good form up with a win against Wimbledon could be crucial in motivating fans further.

Ahead of the game, Graham Alexander has been providing Bradford City supporters with updates on their sides and squads.

Speaking to the press ahead of his team’s clash with the Wombles, Alexander stated: “Nick [Powell] has been involved in our game this morning; his progress is really promising.

“Will [Swan] is a little further back but is getting involved more, he is still a couple of weeks away.”

With this update provided, it appears that both players will miss the clash with Wimbledon this weekend, and with Max Power’s suspension, the Bantams will have at least three players missing for the game.

Although, both Nick Powell and Will Swan could be closing in on a return to the field soon.

Now, with an update on the squad provided, Bradford could look towards their clash with the Wombles in London as they look to continue their good form.

If Bradford pick up a victory, they could move into third position and could climb above Bolton. However, failing to win could result in the Bantams falling further down the table.

With this in mind, this fixture is arguably an important moment for Alexander’s side as they look to both solidify a play-off place and continue their good progress.
