Bradford City are reportedly set to sign the services of Bradford born striker, as the transfer window closure nears.

Bradford City will be aiming for success in the rest of the League One season as the outfit looks to launch a potential bid for promotion.
The Bantams, currently fifth in League One, lost 3-0 to Lincoln City on Tuesday, with only having one shot on target, meaning they haven’t won in three games.
Meanwhile, the outfit has scored just 35 times whilst also conceding 31 goals, putting them on a goal difference of +4.
With this in mind, City could look to recruit more than one striker in the closing stages of the window to help offer an option to the squad when current front man Stephen Humphrys can’t deliver, and back-up striker Will Swan is currently out injured.
Now the Bantams are exploring a permanent move for Derby County and Bradford-born striker Kayden Jackson, according to Football League World on their X account.
The 31-year-old has featured 21 times for Derby County so far this season in the Championship and has picked up zero goals and assists in all competitions.
For Jackson, a move to Bradford could offer an opportunity to regain form, compete with other strikers and improve his goal-scoring figures.
It could be argued that the quality and inconsistency of Jackson in a Championship side, the former Ipswich Town man moving to West Yorkshire, could be potentially the right move for both sides.
If he can hit the same form that he played with at Ipswich in League One (where he scored 19 goals in 128 appearances), the 31-year-old could bring success to Bradford whilst proving to manager Graham Alexander that he deserves to be chosen consistently.
Whilst the Bantams are trying to get the addition over the line, Bradford City supporters who hold interest could look to see how he could benefit the squad in the short term and long term.
However, with the deadline of the window on Monday, this decision may have to be quick if a deal is to be successful for Bradford.
