Could a Bristol City forward be close to joining League One side Stevenage on loan for the rest of the season?

Bristol City Striker Harry Cornick is close to agreeing a deal with League One side Stevenage FC. This loan deal would see him at the club for the remainder of the season.
The deal is not 100% finalised as of yet however the deal is looking unlikely to fall through. The striker is 30 years old so brings experience and reliability to the Stevenage attack force.
Stevenage currently sit 8th in League One just 2 points away from the playoff places. Cornick putting pen to paper would be a huge signing for the club as they are currently on a rough run of form with 3 draws and 2 losses in their last 5 games and Harry Cornick could bring just what they need to boost themselves back into the playoff positions.
The forward would be a great addition as he is an experienced EFL striker with over 250 appearances throughout the 3 leagues including Luton Town when they gained promotion to the Championship and Leyton Orient in League Two, with majority being in the Championship.
If Stevenage want to carry on their campaign for promotion then he is a must sign. Cornick shows passion on the pitch and brings a new playstyle into Stevenage’s attack.
Stevenage are currently in a battle with Luton Reading and Peterborough for the playoff places and Stevenage only playing 23 games so far gives them a huge advantage over the other sides battling and Cornick could be the difference between 3, 1 or 0 points in those 2 games in hand, Huddersfield currently sit 5th on 39 points however have a massive disadvantage of playing 3 more games than Stevenage.
Stevenage’s front 4 have recently struggled for form and in finding the back of the net and Cornick would slot right in that front line and cause problems for opposition defenders.
Stevenage haven’t been perfect defensively either whether they’re just not with the pace anymore or they just make silly mistakes, It’s causing them struggles.
The League One side will be wanting to get the deal done as soon as possible so they can put the forward in their next game away at Exeter.
Stevenage’s next 5 games are Exeter away from home, Bolton at home, Mansfield at home, Peterborough at home and finally Barnsley away.
If the side can’t find their feet again soon they will struggle especially playing inform sides like, Mansfield and Peterborough who both have 10 points in their last 5 league games.
