Charlie Kelman is set to leave Queens Park Rangers this summer according to the Lower Tiers’ sources. Kelman starred at Leyton Orient in their EFL League One campaign last season.
This follows an exclusive from the Lower Tiers around the future of the striker.
This follows weeks of speculation around the 23 year-old’s future at Rangers. The striker could now look for clubs in the EFL Championship and EFL League One for next season.
Kelman’s 2024-25 Season
As mentioned, Kelman spent the 2024-25 season at Leyton Orient. Whilst with the London side, he was able to have a very successful campaign. This campaign saw him score on 27 occasions during his 61 matches.
These efforts were pivotal in Orient’s sixth place finish last season in EFL League One. During the play-offs, the Englishman was also able to play a crucial role through scoring in the first leg of the semi-final.
However, Kelman’s efforts were not enough to see Leyton Orient promoted. This is because they lost to Charlton Athletic in the semi-finals of the play-offs.
What Is Charlie Kelman Good At?
Through using the striker’s 2024-25 statistics, we can identify areas that Kelman excels at.
One of these is in his shooting. This is because last season, he was able to take 111 shots. Of these 111 shots, an impressive 51 were on target. This shows the striker’s enthusiasm in goal and the accuracy he takes in his shots.
Furthermore, the Englishman’s passing statistics are an area for positivity. This is because he was able to execute 316 passes during last season. Furthermore, he was able to make 14 long balls.
However, if we take this and put it in consideration with his overall statistics, we can see the passing may also be an area for improvement. This is due to the fact that Kelman only had a passing accuracy of 66.5%.
As well as this, he had a long ball accuracy of 50%. These are areas that Kelman may need to focus on to make the step up next season.
