Charlton Athletic have made the approach as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the window closure on Monday.

Charlton Athletic are preparing a £2m bid for 22 year old defender Collins Sichenje, according to Alan Nixon.
Sichenje is keen on the move to England and the Addicks hope to complete the deal quickly.
Sichenje plays for Vojvodina, who currently sit third in the Serbian Super Liga after twenty games.
He has featured and started in 17 of those league games, scoring once, with all three of his absences as a result of suspensions from the two red cards and four yellow cards he has received this season.
Sichenje signed for Vojvodina from Swedish outfit AIK in July 2024 after a loan spell in Finland for KuPs.
The Kenyan international also has nine appearances in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League across the three clubs he has played for.
The 22 year old is primarily a central defender, mostly playing on either side in a back four for Vojvodina this season.
This news comes after Anthony Joseph reported that the Addicks are close to agreeing a loan deal for Wrexham’s Conor Coady, despite only signing from Leicester City last summer for £2 million.
Should both deals get over the line, Nathan Jones will be hoping that they, combined with the additions of Harry Clarke and Luke Chambers, will improve Charlton’s recent defensive problems, with the Addicks only registering two clean sheets in their last fourteen league games.
Nathan Jones has often persisted with a back five since his appointment at Charlton apart from a change to a back four in the home game against Birmingham last season for a period of games, after a run of poor performances and results against Blackpool, Stevenage and Bristol Rovers.
He did change to what looked to be a 4-4-2 during the second half of Saturday’s 4-0 defeat to Millwall.
However, the performance did not improve as a result and with the amount of defensive signings, as well as interview quotes around tactics and transfer focus, it looks as though the former Luton manager will be sticking to a back five in the coming weeks.
