Top 5 Cheapest 2025/26 Season Tickets In The EFL

It can’t be reiterated enough, football is for the fans but for some reason many owners of clubs struggle to realise this. Their own greed is valued higher than their morals. That inspired me to write this article. To celebrate the clubs and owners who clearly value their fans by making football affordable. Cheap season tickets need to be celebrated and made a necessity when a new owner delivers their first speech to their fanbase.

Here’s the clubs that put their fans first with cheap season tickets. Hats off to them all. The list only includes the cheapest adult season ticket available to it’s supporters.

5. Huddersfield Town – £269

Huddersfield, a working class Yorkshire town that hasn’t forgotten it’s roots. Season tickets in the Terriers Together Stand Lower cost only £269. Not bad for a club hoping to push for promotion out of League One. It works out at around £11.70 per home game. That’s value for money.

However, in comparison, season ticket prices in the other stands vastly increases. The Terriers Together Stand Upper is the next cheapest at £359 for the season. That’s £90 more for a seat in the same stand with a debatable better view.

£389 will get you a seat in the Cowshed South Stand, £409 for a seat in the Kilner Bank stand and £439 for a seat in the Riverside Stand Lower. For fans wanting to push the boat out for the season, it would cost them £459 for a place in the Riverside Stand Upper.

4. Lincoln City – £263

The Imps are another League One club offering their fans cheap season tickets. A seat in ‘Zone C’ will cost you only £263 which works out at around £11.41 per home game.

This is their cheapest offer but it’s great value to say the least. For a club hoping to finally break in to the League One Play-Offs in the 2025/26 season, the fans are likely to be entertained further. Their fast rise from The National League to League One should be the blueprint for any current club in the 5th division. It’s a story that is definitely underappreciated in English football. It’s restoring to see that the club still values the loyalty of it’s fans after going through tough times in non-league.

Prices rise to £464 for a seat in ‘Zone A’ which would situate you in the The GBM Stand whilst ‘Zone B’ makes up most of the LNER Stadium. A seat in this area would cost you £440 and is quite poor value when you take into consideration that this zone consists of the vast majority of seats.

3. QPR – £262

This one is perhaps the most impressive on the list. A club in the heart of London that puts it’s fans first. Refreshing.

QPR fans can go to Loftus Road for just around £11.40 per game for some exciting Championship action. Thanks to this, the club boast the cheapest season ticket prices in the division.

Clubs in London are notorious for hiking up season ticket prices. Their excuse? Because they can. Obviously, London is a more expensive place to live and everything costs that little bit more but QPR have shown that London clubs don’t have to increase their prices by that much.

A ‘Blue’ membership at QPR gets you in for all 23 home games and only costs £262. In comparison to AFC Wimbledon, another London club but in a lower division, the cheapest adult season ticket there would set you back £415. Do better, Wimbledon.

The ‘Bronze’ membership is the next cheapest at £469. The most expensive membership package they offer costs £715! This is called the ‘Platinum’ package for obvious reasons.

2. Salford City – £210

Now we go into League Two. You might have been wondering about the lack of clubs from the 4th division but, unfortunately, the bulk of League Two sides offer extortionate prices for the quality of football on offer.

Salford City are one of the clubs to step away from the rest and suggest that League Two football should be cheaper for fans. A season ticket in the West Stand costs Salford City supporters only £210. Hats off to Gary Neville and David Beckham, this works out at £9.13 per game. As much as the clubs stalled in League Two, they have done and continue to do a fantastic job.

The most expensive adult season ticket only costs you £270. The lowest most expensive season ticket on this list. Alongside valuing their fans and not wanting to exploit them, another reason for the low cost could be that their average attendance was only 2,849 in the 2024/25 season. This is the second lowest average attendance in the EFL with Accrington Stanley occupying the unfortunate title of the lowest with 2,556. Salford City have to increase their attendances if they are to rise further and they’re going about in good fashion.

1. Fleetwood Town – £199

The Cod Army are the only club offering season tickets for below £200. A standing season ticket will cost you £199 for the whole season. A place on the terraces for around £8.65 per game, what’s not to love?

A seated season ticket costs £289 which, again, is pretty decent value when you compare it to the offerings from other clubs in League Two. To put the £199 price tag into perspective, the most expensive season ticket in the league costs £409. I feel sorry for you, Gillingham fans.

The club with the cheapest season tickets in the EFL is an impalpable award and therefore becomes overseen. It shouldn’t be that way. Everyone should know that Fleetwood Town offer the cheapest season tickets in the EFL. Other clubs need to be taking notes and stop exploiting their own supporters as just mere customers.

Well done Fleetwood Town.
