Coventry City

Founded in 1883 as Singers F.C., Coventry City—nicknamed “The Sky Blues”—play their home matches at the Coventry Building Society Arena. They reached the top tier of English football for the first time in 1967, remained there for 34 years, became a founding member of the Premier League in 1992, and secured the FA Cup in 1987. Following relegation from the top flight in 2001, the club experienced several tough seasons but returned to Championship level and continue to rebuild with ambition and strong community support.
