Crawley Town

Founded in 1937, Colchester United are a proud Essex club with a strong heritage. After over 70 years at Layer Road, they moved to the Colchester Community Stadium in 2008, marking a new chapter in the “U’s” story. One of their most celebrated moments came in 1971 when they famously defeated top-flight Leeds United in the FA Cup — a giant-killing still fondly remembered today. Now competing in League Two, Colchester United continue to reflect local pride, community spirit and a storied past in the lower tiers of English football.
