Bradford City are set to complete their latest January signing as the club brings in a Manchester United forward

Bradford City are one of the sides aiming for success in League One this season, with the Bantams currently sitting third in the league.
City, who are managed by Graham Alexander, were promoted from League Two last season in spectacular fashion with a goal in the 96th minute.
Furthermore, since being promoted from the EFL’s basement division, Bradford have hit the ground running with them beating sides such as Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, and Luton Town in their fixtures so far this season.
However, with half the season still left to go, anything could change.
Therefore, City could view the January transfer window (which is currently ongoing) as an opportunity to improve the depth and quality of their squad and to give themselves a better chance of promotion.
So far in the window, Bradford City have completed three signings with Louie Sibley moving to the University of Bradford Stadium outfit on loan from Championship side Oxford United.
Meanwhile, yesterday, the Bantams confirmed two signings with Newcastle United duo Joe White and Harrison Ashby joining the West Yorkshire outfit.
But, following the departure of Andy Cook (who has joined League Two side Grimsby Town), City may be on the lookout for a centre-forward that can give them the same qualities that Cook did.
Now, it appears that the Bantams are going to sign Manchester United forward Ethan Wheatley on a loan basis for the second half of the season, according to journalist Rich Fay on his X account.
Wheatley, who has come through United’s youth academy, had spent the first half of the season on loan at fellow League One side Northampton Town but was recalled from his spell to be loaned out again.
Whilst with Northampton, the forward made 22 appearances in League One, scoring three times and assisting a further goal.
Now, it appears that Ethan Wheatley will make the switch to Bradford – a move that could help him gain more professional experience.
