League One side Wycombe Wanderers are chasing Pancevo forward Jasper Sylvester, with The Lower Tiers understanding contact has been made.

The Lower Tiers understands League One club Wycombe Wanderers are set to sign Pancevo man Sylvester Jasper.
The 24-year-old is currently playing in the Serbian league for Zelesnicar Pancevo. Wycombe are moving fast to secure the services of the forward before other clubs become aware of his exploits.
Jasper started at Fulham and made two Championship appearances, he also had a few loans with Colchester United, Hibernian and Bristol Rovers prior to his move to Europe.
The forward has scored four times this season in just nineteen appearances for the Serbian side.
Wycombe Wanderers have scored just 34 goals this campaign in 27 games and could do with a new forward to help them finish the season and it looks like it may be Sylvester.
The 24-year-old could well push the Chairboys up the League One table as they look for a play-off charge.
Michael Duff’s side sit in 12th place with a joint 9/9/9 in won, drawn and lost.
This isn’t the first time an English club have chased Jasper, with League Two club Notts County chasing the London born forward back in the summer of 2025.
Jasper has also played for England at under 15 and under 16 level before changing allegiances to Bulgaria at under 21 level.
It would take a transfer fee with the forward having around 18 months left on his deal, but this doesn’t seem to have scared off Wycombe Wanderers.
Pancevo currently sit fifth in the Serbian league, having won nine, drawn four and lost seven in their campaign so far. They will be desperate to keep hold of Jasper as they look to end their own season strongly.
As explained earlier, Wanderers will now be desperate to secure his medical and get this deal over the line! Could Sylvester be the new Richard Kone for the club?
