With Josh Magennis’ future uncertain, Gary Caldwell’s Exeter City could look in the market to sign a new striker to compete with Jayden Wareham.

Take a look below at three potential striker signings for the Grecians.

Strikers Exeter City Could Sign

Baylee Dipepa – Loan

Exeter City could call up Tonda Eckert’s Southampton in pursuit of their 19-year-old striker, Baylee Dipepa.

Dipepa was bought by Saints after a breakout season with Port Vale, showing glimpses of his true talent, making his senior debut for Vale at just 16-years-old.

Dipepa, who has featured seven times in the Premier League 2 and accumulating 3 goal contributions, is highly regarded at Saints, but is yet to make a senior appearance for Southampton.

A loan move to League One could be a good move for all parties, as Southampton should look to get Dipepa frequent minutes in senior football.

Zach Marsh – Loan

Exeter could go shopping at Crystal Palace again, as striker Zach Marsh is having a very good start to the Premier League 2 season.

Marsh has came consistently performed for Crystal Palace’s youth teams in the past years, but is yet to make a senior appearance for the club.

The twenty-year-old could be hungry for a taste of senior football, and Gary Caldwell’s Exeter City could be the place to go for the Englishman.

This season, Marsh has achieved 6 goal contributions within 8 matches, causing EFL clubs to potentially start tracking him.

Marsh could be persuaded to join Exeter by fellow Crystal Palace loanee, Joe Whitworth, who has enjoyed a very successful time in Devon.

Matt Rush – Permanent

Boreham Wood’s talisman, Matt Rush, could potentially be an option for Exeter City this January.

Rush has had a stupendous season so far for Boreham Wood, bolstering 14 goals in 24 matches.

Rush, who is still only 24-years-old, has led the line superbly for Boreham Wood in the National League this season, guiding them to just two points off of league leaders York City.

Rush can also be deployed on the wing, having played their under Luke Garrard a handful of times this season.

Exeter City are known to have searched the National League in pursuit of cheap bargains, having picked up Reece Cole and Millenic Alli whilst scouting for future talent.
