Grimsby Town

Founded in 1878 as Grimsby Pelham, the club adopted the name Grimsby Town a year later and have played at Blundell Park since 1899. Nicknamed “The Mariners,” they enjoyed a golden era in the 1930s, spending eight seasons in England’s top flight and reaching two FA Cup semi-finals. After a brief spell outside the Football League, Grimsby returned via the play-offs in 2022 and now compete in League Two, carrying a legacy of heritage, community pride, and memorable milestones.
