Bradford City are due to face Huddersfield Town this weekend as third meets sixth in League One.

The Bantams and the Terriers, who were just one division apart just last season, now both sit in the promotion places.

Therefore, with this in mind, the game at the Accu stadium this weekend can be said to be crucial for the Bantams to increase their points tally to catch up to Cardiff City and Lincoln City.

This fixture is also crucial for the Terriers to have a positive start under new manager Liam Manning.

In the reverse fixture, which took place in September, Bradford shocked Town with a 3-1 victory, which saw academy graduate Bobby Pointon pick up a brace and former Wimbledon man Josh Neufville net a goal.

Now, with the fixture coming up this weekend, Graham Alexander has been previewing the game and key topics surrounding Bradford City currently.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Alexander spoke about Huddersfield Town’s change of management following Liam Manning replacing Lee Grant in the dugout.

On this topic, the Bradford boss stated:A change in management will, of course, change how we approach the game to some degree. We look at opposition in depth, but we also focus on ourselves. It is important we understand what we do more than anything.”

Meanwhile, he also provided an injury update on the full squad and Newcastle United loanee Harrison Ashby ahead of the game.

Speaking about this, Alexander stated: “We have a strong team to pick from; everyone came through Saturday well, so it looks like I will have some decisions to make!”

With this update, it appears that Harrison Ashby is fit and available for this weekend after the defender picked up a knock in the final moments of the Cardiff game.
