QPR manager Julien Stephan has confirmed that the player will return for the Oxford United fixture, putting him back in contention.

According to Ian McCullough, QPR head coach Julien Stephan has announced that midfielder Harvey Vale is back from injury for their game against Oxford. The injury stricken R’s finally have some good news with Vale back in the squad.
Currently sat eleventh in the Championship, QPR have struggled to gain any kind of momentum with only five points in their last five matches and only one during that time against bottom of the table Sheffield Wednesday.
With the current squad who aren’t injured struggling due to lack of rest time, and the other key players in the squad being out with various injuries, including the likes of Jonathan Varane, Kwame Poku and Ilias Chair.
Having a player such as Vale who can cover multiple positions, most notably, left back, centre midfielder and right wing, Julien Stephan can now rest certain players to stop the already large injury list from growing any further.
Along with his ability to play various positions, Harvey Vale has shown in games such as Stoke at home or Bristol City away we can see as spectators how good Vale can be.
Although not rumoured to be back before QPR’s match against Wrexham, it looks as though fan favourite Ilias Chair will be next back. This combined with Vale’s return will hopefully see an improved R’s side within the coming weeks, picking up form hoping for a late playoff push.
What do you guys think about Vale’s return, are you happy he is back? Let us know!
