Ipswich Town U21s midfielder has joined Potters Bar Town on loan as the Isthmian Premier side strengthen their squad for the run‑in.

Ipswich Town U21 midfielder Tyler Young has joined Potters Bar Town on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 19‑year‑old links up with the Isthmian Premier Division side as he looks to build minutes and continue his development after returning from injury earlier in the campaign.
Young joined Ipswich’s U21 setup in 2024 after leaving Peterborough United, where he came through the academy and made his senior debut in the EFL Trophy.
Before that, he spent time in the Stevenage youth system, giving him a varied grounding across multiple development environments.
He also had a short loan spell at Chatham Town earlier this season, offering him his first taste of Step 3 football before this latest move.
Potters Bar are competing in the Isthmian Premier Division and continue to strengthen their squad as they look to climb the table.
Young adds energy, mobility and versatility in midfield, with the Scholars aiming to sharpen their options heading into the final stretch of the season.

Potters Bar described Young as a strong addition to their squad and thanked Ipswich Town for facilitating the move.
The club highlighted his Step 3 experience and the qualities he brings to their midfield group.
Young is the son of Ipswich Town defender Ashley Young, who recently became the club’s oldest‑ever captain at 40.
His development has been closely followed, and this loan represents another step in his pathway through senior football to potentially play for Ipswich’s first team at some point.
