Ipswich Town Women: International Roundup

International football returned in full flow this week, with Ipswich Town Women players involved across Europe, Asia and the Americas.

From England’s youth camps in Spain to senior action with Jamaica and the Philippines, Town’s squad once again demonstrated its growing international reach.

With starts, impactful cameos and valuable development minutes, it was a window that highlighted both emerging talent and established senior experience.

Here’s how every Tractor Girl fared across the latest round of fixtures.

England Under-20’s in Spain

England opened their three‑match camp with a 3–1 defeat to Spain, where Princess Ademiluyi earned a late call‑up and started the match. Eva Baker also started, while Nelly Las was an unused substitute.

A strong response followed against the Netherlands, with Baker and Las coming off the bench to help secure the win. Ademiluyi remained an unused substitute in the second fixture of the trip.

England concluded their Spanish camp against Mexico. Nelly Las returned to the starting XI, while Princess Ademiluyi came off the bench to score England’s goal. Eva Baker also featured as a second‑half substitute.

England Under-23s

Goalkeeper Natalia Negri was an unused substitute in England U23S’ 1–0 win over France, offering depth and competition in the squad.

She remained on the bench again in the 1–1 draw with the Netherlands, as England closed out their international window unbeaten.

Jamaica Senior Team

Natasha Thomas started for Jamaica in their 3–2 victory over Nicaragua, contributing to a strong attacking performance as the Reggae Girlz continued their positive run of form.

Scotland Under-23s

Kenzie Weir started for Scotland U23S against the Netherlands, while Megan Wearing added energy from the bench in the second half. Despite their efforts, Scotland was unable to overturn the deficit.

Philippines Senior Team

Goalkeeper Nina Meollo, on loan at Real Bedford, was an unused substitute in the Philippines’ narrow 1–0 defeat to Australia and again vs Iran in a comfortable 3-0 win, continuing her integration into senior international camps.

Overall

It was a diverse and productive international window for ITFC Women, with players gaining valuable minutes, scoring goals and continuing their development across multiple age groups and continents.

From youth tournaments in Spain to senior action in the Caribbean and Asia, the squad’s global footprint continues to grow.

With league football now returning, Town will hope the experience gained on international duty feeds straight back into strong domestic performances.
