The player has been linked with the move away from Wycombe Wanderers which would reduce the Chairboys’ squad size.

Wycombe Wanderers are currently in the middle of their 2025-26 campaign with the Chairboys ninth in League One following 26 games.
But, with the January transfer window open, Wycombe have been linked with players that could improve their squad.
One of these players is Kayden Jackson, who is being eyed by Wycombe, according to Alan Nixon.
The striker, who plays for Derby County in the Championship, has been limited in his success with no goals in 19 appearances in the Championship.
With this in mind, a move to the English third tier could be valuable in helping Jackson regain his form and confidence.
Now, James Tilley has been linked with a move away from the club with AFC Wimbledon agreeing a deal to sign the midfielder on a loan basis, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke on X.
Tilley was part of the Wimbledon squad that gained promotion to League One last season through the play-offs but departed to join Wycombe following the expiry of his contract.
However, in his spell with the Chairboys, the 27-year-old has been limited to just 13 appearances across all competitions and has scored just once in this time.
With this in mind, a move to Wimbledon (who are 17th in the league currently) could help him to gain more game-time and to boost his confidence in the closing months of the season.
Now, supporters could look towards the Wombles to see if an official announcement is made about Tilley signing in the coming days.
Furthermore, fans may also look towards James Tilley himself to see what comments he makes about AFC Wimbledon should he sign for the club.
Meanwhile, supporters may look towards the Wimbledon team to see where Tilley could fit into the side and how he can benefit them in the closing stages of the season.
