A major update has emerged on the possibility of Joe White singing for Bradford City from Premier League outfit Newcastle United.

Joe White was linked with a move to Bradford City on Monday, with Newcastle United reported Chris Hope stating that the Bantams were in discussions to sign him.
White, 23, has been at loan at Leyton Orient for the first half of the 2025-26 season. Although, he has been limited for appearances with him making just three in his spell at Orient.
Meanwhile, in a prior spell with League Two outfit MK Dons, the midfielder featured more frequently with him making 35 appearances, scoring six times, and assisting two further goals.
Away from League Two, Bradford City have been constructing a promotion charge so far this season with the outfit currently sitting third in League One with 46 points.
City, managed by Graham Alexander, have picked up 46 points so far this season but face the challenge of Cardiff City this upcoming weekend.
Furthermore, with a tough second half of the season to come, the Bantams could view January as an opportunity to prepare for this.
With Louie Sibley already signing for the club, and bringing experience with him, the club appeared to have made progress.
Now, it appears that the club are going to sign Joe White, with journalist Pete O’Rourke speaking about the news on X.
Posting on his official X account, O’Rourke stated that Newcastle midfielder Joe White has agreed a loan deal to join Bradford City.
Furthermore, the journalist has revealed that the move is expected to be finalised in the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the journalist also stated that Bradford beat interest from other clubs for the services of Joe White.
Now, with the prospect of a move appearing real, it looks like the midfielder may play his football in Bradford for the second half of the season.
With this in mind, fans may look towards the Bantams for an official announcement of the move in the upcoming days.
