Toronto FC have submitted the bid as they look to strengthen their squad and increase their chances of success.

Norwich City are one of the sides aiming for success in the Championship this year.
But, the side are currently sitting 22nd in the league and are in trouble of relegation.
Furthermore, the team have picked up just 24 points this season, and have won just six games whilst losing 14 times.
Meanwhile, the outfit have scored just 28 times and have conceded 39 times.
At the submit of their scoring abilities is striker Josh Sargent, who has scored seven goals in the Championship so far this season. Furthermore, the American international has assisted three goals.
As well as this, during his time at the club (since joining in 2021), the forward has made 157 appearances for the club and has scored 56 times.
However, his future at the club was put at the centre of attention on Sunday, with manager Philippe Clement commenting.
Speaking to the media, he stated: “He sent me a message to say that he was not available today because of transfer stuff.
“We need to speak about that. Him and his agent know the situation: he will not leave in this transfer window.”
However, now, his future has been put in the spotlight further.
Tornoto FC have submitted an official bid for Norwich City forward Josh Sargent, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano has also stated that the bid is $18 million and that negotiations are underway over a potential deal.
Meanwhile, the journalist has stated that Josh Sargent could head over to the Major League Soccer soon.
Now, fans may look towards Norwich to see if Clement can provide further updates on the striker’s future.
As well as this, fans may look for potential replacements should Sargent leave the club either in the window or in the future.
But, for now, fans may have to wait for updates whilst negotiations continue between the two sides and the player.
