A short loan spell at then League Two Stevenage came about with the young midfielder impressing with his versatility in a quick period of time.
In 2023, Campbell made the move across the border, joining Barrow, where he would play a total of 86 times, scoring five goals, before moving on this summer.
Whilst Campbell is the headline make to leave Barrow, defender Theo Vassell will also depart the Cumbrian club next month.
28-year-old Vassell will not be short of admirers having impressed following his move from Salford City last season. The former Wrexham player comes with bags of versatility, having played across a back three and in a back four. The defender also has a goal threat, scoring six in 39 appearances this campaign.
With Bradford and Doncaster making the step up, both teams could be in for the pair as they look to strengthen, whilst saving their transfer budgets for targets higher up the pyramid.
