Leicester City

Founded in 1884 and based at the King Power Stadium in Leicestershire, Leicester City — nicknamed “The Foxes” — were founding members of the Football League’s Second Division. They famously won the Premier League in 2015‑16 and lifted the FA Cup for the first time in 2021. After a recent promotion back to the Premier League in 2024, they were relegated the following season. The club has also won three League Cups (1964, 1997, 2000) and finished runners-up in the 1961 FA Cup, marking a rich history of domestic success.
