Championship duo Leicester City and West Brom are both chasing a Premier League midfielder as they both strive for success this season.

Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are both keeping tabs on Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil, as we edge closer to the January transfer window, according to journalist Alan Nixon.
Neil, 24, has struggled for minutes this season following their promotion to the Premier League. This could all be about to change though.
With the Black Cats performing so well, Neil has struggled to break into the team and as such could be heading out on loan to play regular football.
Sunderland lose several stars this month to the AFCON’s, any possible suitor may have to be patient with this deal.
Neil may be needed in the short-term but he could then be cast back out again and be on the lookout for more consistent football.
With us approaching the mid point of the season, Leicester sit 13th as they seek an immediate return to the top flight.
Short of a miracle though, this wont happen anytime soon and with Marti Cifuentes under pressure, could we see a change of manager at the King Power Stadium before too long?
West Brom are doing slightly worse, the Baggies are sitting in 16th and pressure is also mounting on Ryan Mason as the club look to play fast free-flowing football.
The fans are becoming increasingly frustrated at the Hawthorns.
In terms of this season, Dan Neil has started just once for Sunderland’s first team. This came in the EFL Cup against Huddersfield Town.
Over the past three seasons in the Championship, however, Neil appeared over 130 times for the Black Cats proving to be a vital piece of the puzzle as they reached the Premier League.
Neil will be wanting regular football and if he can’t achieve that in the north-east then a move down to the Championship may not be a bad move for all three parties involved.
Sunderland get gametime for their player, Neil gets to play and either Leicester or West Brom get a ready made midfielder who can step in and ignite their season.
