Birmingham City To Let Another Player Leave Club In January 2026 Window

The Bluenoses are set to let the player leave the club in the next stage of a month that has seen many moves made.

Birmingham City have undergone a change throughout the January transfer window which has seen the team modified ahead of the final months of the season.

The Blues, who are 13th in the Championship currently, have signed names such as August Priske and Kai Wagner.

However, they have also let eight people depart the club with players such as Marc Leonard and Lyndon Dykes departing the club as they move onto future opportunities.

Now, it appears that Birmingham are going to let another player leave the club as they look to gain more experience at another club.

According to Football League World, Birmingham City are set to let Menzi Mazwi leave the club on a loan basis.

Furthermore, the outlet has revealed that the Blues have decided to make a decision on the immediate future of the 19-year-old, who penned his first professional contract in the summer of 2024

Now, according to the source, the youth prospect is set to head out on loan for the remainder of the current campaign in the aim of gaining more professional experience at another club.

Football League World has also stated that they believe Mazwi is receiving loan interest from a number of clubs throughout the EFL. These suitors are in League Two and potentially League One according to FLW.

Mazwi has not made his senior debut for the Bluenoses yet but already has two international caps for Zimbabwe.

For Menzi Mazwi, a move away from Birmingham could offer the chance to gain professional experience at another club.

Now, with a move away from the club confirmed by Football League World, Blues fans may look towards the club to see where he ends up.
