With Deadline Day approaching, Millwall are set to officially approach Brighton for their highly rated England U21 international.

The Lions are set to offer the Seagulls a loan deal for promising forward Tommy Watson.
Brighton are keen to loan the youngster out, having made infrequent cameos for the Premier League side this season.
The left winger is catching the attention of a host of Championship clubs, one of which being Derby.
However, Millwall are making an official approach for the England U21 international.
The Brighton winger offers pace, flair and an eye for chance creation.
This is crucial for Millwall, where it’s fair to say the left wing is a current weak point.
Thierno Ballo, on loan from Wolfsberger AC, possesses pace and technical ability however lacks the cutting edge and physicality for the Championship.
Ballo, and likewise with fellow left winger, Aidomo Emakhu are both strong options to bring off the bench.
However neither have truly cemented a place in the Lions’ starting eleven.
For many Millwall fans, a left side of Alfie Doughty and Tommy Watson would be a joy to witness. Just as good as the right side of Crama and Azeez.
Minutes have been irregular for the former Sunderland man since joining Brighton.
A noteworthy goal and three assists in the EFL Cup are signs of promise in what has been a quiet season for Watson.
Brighton gaffer, Fabian Hurzeler, stated the winger is, “lacking rhythm and regular minutes”.
So a loan deal to the Championship seems like the perfect destination for the £10M youngster, who has pedigree at the level after his history-making success with Sunderland last season.
For Brighton, Watson can get regular minutes and further experience.
Whilst for Millwall, it’s an added sprinkle of quality in what is already a delightful array of creative talent.
This was already strengthened by the addition of Barry Bannan on Wednesday.
Should Alex Neil’s side get this deal over the line, you’d feel the club are one step closer to cementing a position in the Play Offs.
