Welcome to this new series where we will be previewing and reviewing the end to the National League season as well as the playoffs and finding out which teams will be playing in League Two next season.
We will be previewing the permutations of matchday 45 where we could see the National League champions be crowned and the tussle for playoff spots and seeds continue.
Barnet VS Aldershot Town
It is simple for the Bees, they just need a point out of their next two games, and they are champions and will secure promotion to the EFL for the first time since 2018.
York City vs Solihull Moors
For York City, for any slim chance they have left of a title bid, they need to win at home to Solihull Moors and Barnet to lose to force the title race to the final day. However, they are guaranteed second place, a bye to the semi-finals and a home tie.
Forest Green Rovers Vs Oldham Athletic
The big game in the league this week between third and fourth, The Green have secured third place and a home semi-final tie however Oldham have not secured a play-off berth just yet and need a point in their next two games but a win here would all but secure at least a home game in the Eliminator due to their goal difference.
Rochdale vs Hartlepool
However, Oldham are not guaranteed fourth place if they win their next two games becuase Rochdale, at home to mid-table Hartlepool have a game in hand on Tuesday to Solihull Moors where two wins would put them fourth going into the final day, however to secure an away playoff eliminator at least they need three points.
Halifax Town vs Braintree Town
Halifax at home to now mathematically safe Braintree, know a win would put them only one point away from making the playoffs for the second season in a row.
Boston United vs Gateshead
For the Heed, after the pain of being knocked out of the playoffs for not entering the criteria for the EFL, have solved those issues now but to have a crack at the playoffs this time will know two wins will secure it.
Southend United vs Wealdstone
Southend will know what has happened as they play in the late kick-off, but they know it is not in their hands and will need to win to stand any chance as any dropped points with a win for Gateshead will knock them out of the running.
Dagenham and Redbridge vs Altrincham
Like Southend, Altrincham know that any dropped points against relegation threatened Dagenham and Redbridge, and a Gateshead win would knock them out of any chance of the playoffs.
Tamworth vs Flyde
Though possible mathematically, it would require a major miracle and a point for Gateshead would rule them out of contention but even so, it has been a great season for the Lambs which included that amazing FA Cup run.
