Notts County

Founded in 1862, Notts County proudly claim the title of the world’s oldest professional football club. Based at Meadow Lane, they were one of the twelve founding members of the Football League in 1888 and famously won the FA Cup in 1894. Known as the “Magpies” for their black‑and‑white stripes—which even inspired Juventus—they’ve experienced a full range of triumphs and challenges, including a return to the EFL via the play‑offs in 2023 after a period in non‑League football.
