West Bromwich Albion are currently experiencing difficulties in the Championship with the outfit 21st in the league after their first 30 games of the season.

The outfit, who recently appointed Eric Ramsay as their new manager following the sacking of Ryan Mason, have picked up just 32 points this season, leaving them just three points above the drop zone.

Furthermore, with a defeat to Portsmouth at the weekend, West Brom are now behind Pompey (who could look to extend their game over Albion with their upcoming games).

With this in mind, Ramsay’s side are arguably in trouble, making the final day of the winter transfer window arguably pivotal.

However, following the arrivals of both Danny Imray from Crystal Palace and Max O’Leary from Bristol City, Ollie Bostock has been linked with a move away from the side by supporters, who have taken to X to respond to Bostock’s agent who posted stating: “Going to be an interesting 24 hrs.”

Bostock has made four appearances for West Bromwich Albion’s Under-21s in the Premier League 2 this season, with him scoring on one occasion.

Furthermore, he has made two appearances for Albion’s first-team this season with these falling in the Championship and FA Cup. In the FA Cup, the 18-year-old also provided an assist helping his side.

However, with limited first-team experience, a loan move away from West Brom could be important in aiding Ollie Bostock as he develops professionally.

If he was to go out on a loan basis, it would be the first of his career following a long period in the West Brom academy, alongside representing Wales at youth levels.

Now, with links made, supporters may look towards Bostock’s agent and the club to see if a loan move is agreed to help him gain more experience on the professional scene.
