Plymouth Argyle: The Rise Of Bim Pepple

Bim Pepple, the 22-year-old Canadian striker, has been on fire for Plymouth Argyle since 29th December 2025, netting 10 goals in just 15 appearances after his move from Luton Town.

Signed as backup to Lorent Tolaj, Argyle’s 17-goal main striker, Pepple had a slow start, netting just two goals in his first 20 games.

Injuries to Tolaj gave him the chance to lead the line and Pepple has seized it with impressive form.

World Cup Hopeful

If his form continues, Bim Pepple could force his way into the Canada men’s national squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup a tournament Canada will co-host with the United States and Mexico.

The striker would have to fight for a spot in Canada’s squad ahead of established forwards like Cyle Larin of Southampton and Jonathan David of Juventus.

Plymouth Argyle’s Play Off Push

Since Bim Pepple’s return to the team in late December, Plymouth Argyle have won 8 of their 15 games in all competitions, drawing 3 and losing 4.

This leaves Plymouth Argyle on 49 points, five points outside the play-off places, meaning Tom Cleverley’s men still have everything to play for.

As Tolaj returns from injury, Plymouth Argyle will look to mount a serious play-off push, with him and Pepple leading the charge.

The Future Of Bim Pepple

The still only 22 year old has a fantastic career ahead of him, and if he can maintain this brilliant goal scoring run, it could lead to a big move in the future.

The prospect of playing at the World Cup could be a key motivator for Pepple to continue his goal scoring run, as he would be eager to showcase his ability on the world stage.

His age, talent, and work rate suggest he still has plenty of room to grow, making him a player to watch over the next few seasons.
