QPR look set to miss out on a new signing as his current club suffer injuries and are desperate to keep hold of him.

QPR have been looking to strengthen this transfer window, as Julian Stephan looks to add competition to his side ahead of the Championship run-in.
The Hoops have already added Justin Obikwu from Coventry City, following his successful loan spell with Lincoln City and Ronnie Edwards from Southampton.
It now appears, however, that Julian Stephan’s side are set to miss out on Dundee defender Luke Graham.
21-year-old Luke Graham has spent his youth career and most of his senior career with Dundee, since signing in 2021, however, he has had spells with Lochee United, Albion Rovers, Montrose and Falkirk as he looks to elevate his game even further.
Graham has scored five goals in his career, and he has played in matches against Rangers, Hearts and Dundee United this month. The club will be desperate to keep hold of the youngster, whom they have developed.
The Hoops look set to miss out due to injuries north of the border. Billy Koumetio is out for an extended period with a knee injury, Clark Robertson is also out as well with a thigh injury.
Dundee reporter George Cran said: “Yeah, I think his price has definitely gone up in the past few days. They’re certainly looking for upwards of £1m. I don’t know how far up they’re going, but I think it’s gone further now, certainly.“
“I mean, they didn’t want to lose him at all anyway. It was going to take a big, big bid, and it will take a slightly or even bigger bid now, because it’ll leave them really short of options.”
Fellow Championship clubs Portsmouth and Sheffield United have shown an interest in the 21-year-old defender. Portsmouth had a bid rejected earlier in this transfer window, with Dundee boss Steven Pressley having this to say at the time:
“I know there’s been a bid. Rejected, I would imagine so. I think you’ll see by his performance today that he’s an outstanding young player and we aren’t surprised with the attention as a club.”
“We’ve worked exceptionally hard with that kid. The development programme around him has been immense and if he was to go it would have to be a really high figure.”
