They were elected into the Football League in 1920 and won the League Cup in 1966‑67 after a memorable comeback win against West Brom at Wembley. QPR finished as runners‑up in the First Division in 1975‑76, narrowly missing out on the title, and have appeared twice in the UEFA Cup (1976‑77, 1984‑85). Known for their blue and white hoops and the nickname “The Super Hoops,” the club have long-standing rivalries with other West London teams such as Chelsea, Fulham and Brentford.
