Bradford City are one of the sides currently competing in League One that are striving for success in the closing months of the 2025-26 season.
The Bantams, who were promoted from League Two following a last minute winner in their fixture against Fleetwood Town last season, have experience large periods of success this season.
This success sees City third in the league after their first 26 games of the season.
However, with the closing weeks of the January transfer window now upon teams across the English third tier, Bradford have been linked with a number of names that could join the club.
One of these names is Ethan Wheatley with the Manchester United forward reported to have agreed a deal with the Red Devils for a loan move.
Meanwhile, whilst the club have been linked with names that could join City, there has also been a number of departures this month.
Among the names that have left Graham Alexander’s side is defender Tom McIntyre who was sent back to Portsmouth following a loan spell with Bradford in the first half of the season.
During his time with the Bantams, the defender made seven appearances in League One and eleven across all competitions.
But, with him sent back to Pompey, the 27-year-old could be looking for a new move to give himself more playing time in the closing months of the campaign.
Now, according to Reading Chronicle reporter Ramy Abou-Setta, Reading are not interested in a move for the defender following rumours that he could join the Royals this month.
With this news now revealed, the number of possible clubs that McIntyre could join has condensed.
Now, supporters of Tom McIntyre and of Portsmouth may look towards the club to see if they decide to allow the 27-year-old to go out on loan or whether he will be staying at the Championship outfit in the second half of the season.
However, for now, only time will tell and fans may have to patient to wait for an update.
