Three Championship Clubs Tyler Fredricson Could Join This Month

Tyler Fredricson could be one of many Manchester United players that may choose to look for a loan move this month.

A Premier League talent’s availability for loan has put multiple Championship clubs on high alert following a managerial change at his current club.

It is still to be seen which clubs bring the best proposal to both the player’s representatives and the club. They would have to act fast, as other European clubs are also interested in the signing.

The Premier League player now available is Tyler Fredricson. The 20-year-old Manchester United centre-back is currently vying to be the club’s sixth-choice defender.

With the sacking of Ruben Amorim, there has been less and less chances for the Englishman to get game time since the club has reverted to a back four, opposed to the back three where he got a relative amount of minutes.

The former England Under-18 international has only played a total of 266 minutes between the first team and the Under-21’s this season.

Three Clubs Tyler Fredricson Could Join

After looking at the clubs in the division, system, and availability for minutes, we have shortlisted three clubs that could make the move for Fredricson before the end of the transfer window.

Hull City

One club that keeps coming up, no matter who we speak to, is Hull City who are in need of defensive reinforcements. The Tigers have lost key centre-back Semi Ajayi to a hamstring injury he picked up while at AFCON.

They also lost John Egan to injury in their latest game against Preston North End, which makes him a doubt for the rest of this month.

This move does make sense as well, since manager Sergej Jakirovic does deploy a standard ‘safety first’ defensive system, which would help the defender get a hold of his physical side.

Southampton

The Saints have had an issue with the defensive department for the majority of this season regarding to ball retention. Nathan Wood and Harwood-Bellis have not been the most comfortable with the ball at their feet.

One of Fredricson’s best attributes is his passing ability. His success in forward passing and breaking the lines would be key in a Southampton side that needs something to save their season.

Blackburn Rovers

Blackburn Rovers have a defensive crisis at the moment. Starting centre-backs Scott Wharton and Hayden Carter have both been struck with injuries sidelining them until next month.

They have already recruited Eiran Cashin from Brighton in this window, but only having four centre-backs for a three-back system is living dangerously.

The back three, injuries, and danger the team is in sitting 21st are some of the reasons that Blackburn would be a perfect fit for Tyler Fredricson until the end of the season.
