Watford are set to sign an England youth international on loan from Manchester City in time for their travel to Hull City this weekend.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Watford are set to sign 17-year-old and young England star Stephen Mfuni on loan from Manchester City.
The Defender is set to undergo a medical tomorrow and join up with the first team ahead of their game against Hull City.
Mfuni is a left-footed defender but has the ability to play in the left back position as well as having the ability to play in the midfield to create chances and cover the area.
The England Youth international has featured heavily in the Premier League 2 for Manchester city making 9 appearances having 1 goal and 1 assist.
Pep Guardiola also granted Mfuni a whole 45 minutes in the 10-1 victory in the FA cup Vs Exeter on his debut, where he got a match rating of 6.5
The Young Man has also featured in the Uefa Youth Cup, including 2 assists against Bayern Leverkusen.
Mfuni is a very good carrier with the ball with a 85% dribbling success, and averages around 2 tackles a match, mainly in the defensive area.
A weakness is that his height can often be his disadvantage, being only 5ft 10, so he will struggle against tall strikers, and there are quite a few of that kind in this division.
Watford have been looking for a centre back during this January transfer window, and it looks like the 17-year-old will be joining Saba Goglichidze in the newest arrivals.
Due to Max Alleyne’s bright development at Watford, Manchester City probably thought that is the best chance of playing regular first-team football and developing to a high potential.
A very good talent for Watford to have at their disposal, and he will likely be seen as soon as possible at their game against Hull City.
