West Brom have announced the signing of Aston Villa youngster Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba as they look to turn their fortunes around.

West Brom have announced the loan signing of promising young attacking midfielder Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba from Aston Villa for the rest of the season.
The 19 year old, who returns to the club having spent just under a decade in the academy will be looking to turn the Albion’s fortunes around as they sit four points above the relegation places.
Jimoh-Aloba arrives at The Hawthornes following his Premier League debut against Arsenal in the final game of 2025.
A European debut last week also saw his name in the headlines as he scored the winner to complete a 3-2 comeback for Villa against Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
Returning to the club that fostered his early footballing career, the versatile teenager can play in a number of positions including on the left, or as a central or attacking midfielder.
He comes into a West Brom side desperate to find form under new manager Eric Ramsay, who has failed to win any of his opening four games at the club.
The injection of an energetic midfielder that deeply cares for the club could prove vital if the Baggies want to avoid being stuck in a relegation scrap come the closing end of the season.
According to Jimoh-Aloba West Brom was “the number one place I wanted to come because of the emotions and feelings I have towards the club. Those emotions are still in me deeply”
Going on, he stated “This is a massive club that should be in a much better place and I want to come here and help and do the best I can. I’m determined to help lift the team.”
The signing of a highly rated young prospect is enough to get any fan excited, adding in the sentimentality of this being a homecoming for a player who joined their academy at the age of six is surelty enough to give West Brom fans a boost of optimism.
