West Bromwich Albion Set To Snag Last Ditch Premier League Youngster

West Brom have had a rocky season, and are desperately recruiting reinforcements. They are currently seeking a Premier League youngster.

West Brom are forcing themselves into some late business. The clubs recent results have been far from good enough.

The former Premier League outfit, currently sit 21st, and 3 points outside of the drop zone.

Late transfers are coming as a shock from West Brom, as reports lately suggested that Andrew Nestor had stepped down. Nestor was the CEO and Director of football, whom we covered, along with his impact, here.

It was announced today on X, that the Baggies are pushing for a late signing of Hindolo Mustapha. Mustapha, is a Crystal Palace youth prospect, who had a brief spell in Germany last season.

Mustapha is a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, and winger, who has shone through the Crystal Palace academy. He mainly focuses in the CAM role, but can also play on both wings.

Whilst on loan in Germany at Nurnberg II, Mustapha didn’t really shine, playing 180 minutes before having his loan cancelled. The young attacker failed to score or assist.

So What Do West Brom See In The Young Talent?

Despite his worrying loan spell, since being back in the Premier League 2 with Crystal Palace, He has scored 1 in 3 games, with an average rating of 7.50! Mustapha clearly has a strong potential, but he is in desperate need of nurturing and minutes.

West Bromwich Albion have always had a great rapport for youngsters, producing some of the most recent talents. WBA have produced, Morgan Rogers, youngster Louis Barry, and Chris wood, who had a short period at the club.

The Baggies are in desperate need for depth, and somebody to score goals, whilst adding attacking threat. The side currently lacks depth, with injuries and setbacks plaguing the side. A fresh pair of young legs will bring massive boosts to West Brom.

This move would see Mustapha team up with former teammate, and recent signing Imray. The pair both come from Crystal Palace, and have worked together.
