Founded in 1932, Wigan Athletic—nicknamed “The Latics”—play at the Brick Community Stadium in Greater Manchester. After finally gaining election to the Football League in 1978, they climbed through the ranks to the Premier League in 2005 and achieved one of their greatest triumphs by winning the FA Cup in 2013.
